Indira Naidoo Harris, Mayor Krantz, Mike Cluett, Rick Lorenzo, Zee Hamid and other dignitaries were present to grace the opening of the event. There were some very talented kids and mesmerizing performances. The highlight of the show was Kids Fashion show. Small kids walked the ramp in Summer and Party wears. Stage activities included
Kids Dance, Singing and Fashion Contest. The contests were judged by Sam Kassam-Macfie, Rick Imus and Rick Di Lorenzo. Over 25 trophies and certificates were handed out to deserving and talented kids.
The festival had free Entry for all kids under 12 years at the event on both days and the adults were charged only $3 at the gate of which $1/- was donated to United Way of Milton. The event supported United Way of Milton for their charitable causes. Even the parking was free and families had a blast.
Word’s Finest Shows provided Midway Carnival rides at the festival. The other attractions at the festival included a Bubble Soccer Area, Water Balls, Activity Booth with free Heena, Kids Volley Ball area, Basket ball area and many more interesting activities. Various Cartoon Characters visited the festival and kids had a great time with them. A Hula Hoop Jam session was also organized and kids and families along with kids bands and performances from Lightning the band, AuntyB and Please and Thanks band. Flawless Beauty by Nidhi supported the event with free manicure and pedicure for Kids.
